I had booked the taxi through the call center for ooty pykara trip. The driver was extremely friendly and the trip was memorable. The total cost was for 2000rs, while the additional parking was 135rs. At the end including tip paid 2200rs. However I realised at the end the parking fees was a lie and even if paid promptly should have been 80rs as the parking at most places was at the roadside.

Perhaps I am the right person to write the testimonial on M/s. Royal Travels as, in an itinerary spanning over 6N and 7D, I used their four vehicles and five drivers (though I was supposed to use only one). I came across M/s. Royal Travels while searching on the internet for the cab operators in Coimbatore and Ooty area. The company is based in Coimbatore, with the office within walking distance from the airport. The other office is in Ooty. When I contacted them by email, the response was quick. The price quoted for my itinerary to Kodaikanal, Ooty via Coimbatore was very competitive. The process of booking the package was smooth. All the drivers I interacted with (Mr. Manian, Mr. Jerald, Mr. Sivalingam, Mr. Arun and Mr. Nithish) were good and were fully aware of all sightseeing points and hotels. One of them (Mr. Jerald) even played good Hindi songs from late eighties and nineties for us which was a bit surprising in a state like Tamilnadu and was a pleasant experience while driving through the Nilgiri range. The language was not a barrier as all of them could understand and speak basic or good English and Hindi. We spent most of the time with Mr. Manian. He is a very polite and simple person. There were problems in the vehicle that was originally provided to us on two separate occasions during our excursions from Ooty. Quick replacements were provided from their Ooty office and that is why we ended up using their four vehicles and five drivers. As per their website, the customer service number is reachable 24x7. I called them as a late as at 11 PM and as early as at 7 AM and could talk to them. Overall, I found these guys dependable if one is traveling in and around Coimbatore and Ooty. Now a couple of points which may help improve the customer experience. Please provide a better condition vehicle to the customers travelling with family and especially with kids. It is a bit troublesome to wait on the road for replacement. Make sure that the driver does basic cleaning of the vehicle daily during the trip rather than leaving it entirely for the end of the trip.

I booked an indica AC - 29/09/17 from ooty to coimbatore.
The driver Balamurugan is very punctual and polite. He drove us to coimbatore airport in 2 hours. We had breakfast at combatore. Balamurugan is very patient in waiting. I booked the cab to be at ooty hotel at 6.30AM. But we were late for 1 hour. He was ontime at 6.30.

The driver details were texted previous day night. But I didnot call him. In the next day morning he called at 6.30 and said that he is at the hotel.

This time also, I am waiting for the invoice but still not received, even after 3 days of taking the journey.

I used the 3Days 2Nights tour package on Xylo
(200 kms = INR 7800, considering Pickup from MTP and Drop at UAM)
(Coonoor, Ooty, Pykara, Mudumalai all covered)

* Driver Suresh was a localite and very helpful with respect to guidance on everything. He explained everything upfront before start of journey (like route, kms, what are the stop points on the way).
* All parking tickets etc taken by him.
* Cab was waiting when we arrived at MTP railway station
* NO mishaps or near miss accidents on the entire tour. He is good at driving.
* He also pointed out the best outlets where to buy, Ghee, Coffee, Tea, Chocolates and Oils.
* Among the hotels in which we had food, Hotel Durga (which he pointed out) was affordable and good food taste for south indian dishes
* Vehicle was in excellent condition and did not face any trouble in this hilly terrain (amidst little rain)
* When we did not get Safari tickets in Mudumalai, we requested driver to take us on a drive for around 10 kms in Mysore road and had glimpses of Elephant, different types of Deer, Bison, Peacock, Monkeys, Wild Boar etc.
* When our baby started vomiting and fainting during uphill MTP to Coonoor - he supported bicely by driving slow and stopping at places every 10 mins to relax the baby out of giddiness. Thanks to Suresh.
* I felt very comfortable during the entire tour as the driver acted as a ready reckoner to all my doubts and helped me all the way.

Hi, this is NB Patel. I booked ur cab from Coimbatore Airport for 9 days (05 Aug to13 Aug). The cab was ready to greet us. I with my wife grand son were so happy to note that the driver, Mr. Senthyl was well behaved, knowledgeable, well versed with routes to Masinagudi, Ooty and Kodaikanal. We never had language problem. The service of COIMBATORE TAXI is incredible which fulfils anyone in terms of money and the behaviour of the staffs. I took a cab for 5 days for Local Maruthamalai, Isha Foundation and Etc., and Ooty. The car was so clean and the driver name Ravi was so kind and well behaved which makes the trip more comfort and impressive for me and my wife because we travelled with my 1 year baby as you guys know that travelling with babies how much we need to take care regarding food whenever we ask him stop the car he will stop and wait until my baby finishing her food, he was so polite and I would like say Thanks to Bala from help desk arranging such a nice trip. We would very much like to choose you when ever we happen to visit that side,if you could assure us that in future he driver will be conversant with the area we plan to visit and has some knowledge of Hindi/English.

I would like to thank Royal tour for making our holiday memorable. The vehicle provided was in excellent condition. We had an issue with Driver Muthuraj who was not able to speak hindi, however he did communicate with us in broken english as much as he can and explained us each and every place we visited. Few members of my family had motion sickness due to which they were frequently vomiting while travelling. Driver Muthuraj didn't mind stopping every now and then. He took us to more places then what was mentioned on the site. Overall we are happy with the service and will recommend or come back to them for our future travel needs.
